Plans continue for the upcoming Annual Texas Telephone Association (TTA) Convention to be held August 16 -19, 2020, in San Antonio, at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort. This convention will present an updated look that compliments the new logo and branding moving the association into the future of connectivity.
As this exciting transition occurs, the convention itself will sport an updated name: TXConnect Membership Summit.
The new name and branding are not superficial — they represent a renewed focus to our members and a recommitment to connecting rural Texas through a proactive partnership with you, the industry, and the future of the ICT industry. This year’s Summit will showcase a refreshed agenda that includes peer speakers, insights into industry movement, best practices, and real-world learnings. Sessions will address relevant topics never before discussed like sales and marketing training and in-field safety. The event will also feature fearless peer panels, and an engaging keynote speaker. Stay tuned for that announcement.
Information presented will be applicable not only to company executives, but to employees — who are vitally important to day-to-day operations. Also, the event will offer new and improved relationship building activities between vendors and member companies. Networking opportunities will be plentiful and fun!
Presentation of awards is always a highlight and this year is no exception. Awards to be presented include the prestigious Neville Haynes Award, Outstanding Achievement Award, and Associate Member of the Year (nominations accepted soon). Following will be an enjoyable night of carnival amusement with games, popcorn, and prizes.
Registration information for this year’s annual gathering is coming soon, so make sure all of your team members are receiving the TTA newsletter for more information in future editions.
